Walter Alan Murphy (born May 27, 1966) is Cynthia & William's son, Karen's ex-husband, and Ana & Ryan's dad. He is very proud of his daughter.
Life[]
Walter was born & raised on May 27, 1966 in Shelbyville, Indiana. Murphy's brother was married to Karen Salter's sister, and they met in the early 90s. They got married in Texarkana, Texas in 1997. Walter is also father to Ryan since 2001. They all lived together in Indiana until Karen and Walter split up when Ana was 8 or 9 and Walter went to jail. Currently, Walter continues to live in Indiana.
Relationship with Ariana[]
- Ana shows that she loves her dad very much.
- Ana gave her dad a signed picture that says I love you six times.
- Sometime in 2018, Ana and her father lost touch. Ariana talked about in the September 2019 issue of Seventeen magazine and said it was the hardest thing she ever had to deal with. She went on to say that, "the thing that got me there was embracing the fact that I am made up of half my dad, and a lot of my traits come from him. So much of me comes from my father, and for so long, I didn’t like that about myself. I had to accept that it’s okay not to get along with somebody and still love them."
